Ruby is one of the most popular and high-value gemstones that always attract gemologist jeweler in diamond market. The wide use ruby various industries makes grading this gems more complicated due to a lot synthetic imitation rubies are made. current techniques mostly depending on human visual assessment which prone errors. This paper proposes system helps clarity characteristic non-invasive manner. includes charge-coupled devices (CCD) laser designed suitable effective way conduct inspection light intensity will then determine ruby. CCD linear sensor widely known as reliable especially when optical system. capture from convert it into voltage value. result shows value 1.7918 V obtained placed concludes can detect even slightest changes pass through falls sensor. proven be with 80% accuracy.
